Saved Messages Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 11, 2026

Saved Messages helps users save selected text, source page URLs, page titles, links inside selected text, notes, and open tab URLs to their Saved Messages workspace.

Information We Collect

The Saved Messages Chrome extension collects information only when the user explicitly asks it to save something. This may include selected text, links inside the selection, the source page URL, the source page title, and the titles and URLs of open tabs when the user chooses to save all tabs.

How We Use Information

Saved content is sent to savedmessages.net and stored in the user's Saved Messages workspace so the user can find it again later. We do not sell user data.

Extension Storage

The extension stores a connection token, connection status, user summary, and extension settings locally in the browser using Chrome storage. The extension does not receive the user's Google password.

Notifications

Browser notifications are used only for save confirmations, connection status, and error messages after user actions.

Data Sharing

Saved Messages does not sell or transfer user data to third parties for advertising. Data is processed only to provide the Saved Messages service.

User Controls

Users can disconnect the extension and delete saved content from their Saved Messages workspace.
